Simply unscrew the eyepiece from the tube and screw this adapter into its place.

Suitable for most 8x50 and 9x50 finder scopes from Omegon, Skywatcher, TS Optics, Orion USA, and older 50mm Celestron finder scopes.

Focusing is done directly via the knurled ring on the finder scope’s objective.

The adapter is available in two versions, depending on what you want to connect:

The version [cms://shop/p_id=56472 "with C-mount thread"] is useful for directly screwing on a guide camera such as the [cms://shop/p_id=61035 ""], i.e., if the finder eyepiece is only rarely needed. This should also be done with a straight-through finder [cms://shop/p_id=48372 ""] to obtain a sharp image.

The [cms://shop/p_id=56473 "T2 thread"] variant only allows cameras with a very small flange focal distance to be focused on the straight-through finder. However, you can combine this adapter with other parts on an [cms://shop/p_id=48370 "angled view"] finder, as these finders have more back focus when the angled view is unscrewed. For example, you can add an eyepiece clamp [cms://shop/p_id=33225 ""], a helical focuser [cms://shop/p_id=59383 ""], and/or extension tubes [cms://shop/c_id=15_37_10 ""] and then switch between a guide camera and a reticle eyepiece [cms://shop/p_id=49759 ""].

Treat your finder scope to this upgrade!
