a telescope Refractor is a focused optical system, which captures images of distant objects using a set of lenses in which light is refracted. The refraction of light in the objective lens causes parallel rays, coming from a very distant object (at infinity ), to converge on a point on the focal plane. This allows distant objects to be shown larger and brighter.
