cable-convertidor-5-v-12-v
5V - 12V Converter Cable

The 5-12V converter cable turns a USB power bank into a small telescope's companion: with this cable, the usual 5V from USB are converted into the 12V needed for telescopes.

Make sure to plug the cable into a 2A (min.) USB socket. The 12V connection will then provide 600mA. The cable is 80cm long, offering flexibility when positioning the battery on the telescope.

Note: This cable provides 600mA, making it only suitable for small GoTo mounts. A regular USB power bank will only last a few hours, even with a small telescope. The necessary USB power supply is not included in the scope of delivery!

The 12V connection (5.5x2.1 center-positive) fits most mounts. Please note: MEADE mounts require a different connection (5.5x2.5).

The cable is suitable for the following small mounts:

Skywatcher AZ-S

Skywatcher Star Discovery

Skywatcher AZ-GTi

Skywatcher AZ-GTe

Skywatcher Solarquest AZ

Skywatcher AZ Merlin

Orion StarSeeker IV

Celestron Nexstar SLT

Celestron Nexstar GT

Celestron Nexstar SEi

Celestron LCM

Celestron SkyProdigy

Omegon Push+

Omegon Push+ mini.
