CNC-machined components give your camera the stability it needs. This means you can reliably align your Astrotracker to the north in just a few minutes.

The advantages at a glance:

Deluxe Equatorial Wedge for better alignment and tracking for your astrophotography

Suitable for the MiniTrack and other Astrotrackers

Precise polar alignment: very smooth and fine movement in four directions

3/8" thread: fits any photo tripod (without tripod head)

Polar height adjustment from 10 to 60 degrees

Spirit level for horizontal stabilisation of the tripod, even in the open field

Laser-engraved height scale, easy to read even at night

Beautiful and durable CNC components, so you can enjoy astrophotography for many years

Why this equatorial wedge offers better results in astrophotography

What is the difference from a normal tripod head? If you want to photograph the starry sky with a mini-mount, you will certainly be familiar with this question. You can also point to Polaris with a tripod head, but it was not invented for this. It provides freedom of movement in many directions, but the alignment remains imprecise and you need to know exactly how the tripod head behaves in order to get good results in photography.

An equatorial wedge makes things easier. It helps you align your camera, like a large telescope, exactly to the celestial north pole, with one-degree precision at any time. In this way, you can achieve better tracking in photography or use telephoto lenses and achieve good results.

Better altitude and azimuth adjustment

Leave nothing to chance at night: it is important that everything works well and immediately, especially in the dark. Altitude and azimuth settings work smoothly: stainless steel screws facilitate the necessary adjustments.

Accurate spirit level

You have a reliable spirit level discreetly integrated into the equatorial wedge. You can use it to find a completely horizontal position for your tripod.

Firm clamp for any Vixen-type rail

A flat clamp on the side holds the tracker or mini-mount in a stable position. The best thing is that, unlike other models whose only clamp is a screw, the Deluxe equatorial wedge provides firm but very gentle support.

Slim and tall: from 10 to 60 degrees

We have given great importance to the design being slim. Thus, even when an Astrotracker is coupled, the screws are still accessible.

CNC manufactured product

Made with CNC components, this equatorial wedge is not only very aesthetically pleasing, but also very effective. Its high-quality surface gives the equatorial wedge a robustness that will allow you to enjoy astrophotography for many years.

Just attach it and you're done

With the Deluxe equatorial wedge, you just mount, align and you're ready to go. The polar alignment remains stable throughout the night.
