NEW - now includes a high-quality objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses and planetary transits. A high-quality telescope for nighttime and solar observations.
Perfect for getting started in astronomy: the 90mm aperture offers about 200 times more light than the human eye! Observe craters, valleys, and rilles on the Moon at almost 400,000 km distance as if you were right there. The MESSIER AR-90L offers you detailed images not only of the Moon: examine the division of Saturn's rings millions of miles away or discover Jupiter's "Great Red Spot", a gigantic storm in its atmosphere. Follow the seasons on Mars and recognize the crescent phase of Venus.
The MESSIER AR-90L already collects many times more light compared to the instrument with which Galileo Galilei made his famous discoveries almost four hundred years ago.
The installed dew shield reduces possible dew formation and prevents side stray light from entering, which further increases image contrast.
On the tube clamp of the AR-90L/1200 there is a GP prism rail for attachment to the mount.
EXOS-2 mount and tripod.
The entry-level segment of the BRESSER Messier series. The smaller optics are stably mounted on the BRESSER EXOS-2. Gone are the days when price-conscious customers had difficulty getting started in astronomy due to undersized mounts. The EXOS 2 with its robust stainless steel tripod supports the optics offered up to a weight of 13 kg for stable, wobble-free visual observation. For more convenience during observation, the mount can be upgraded with a motor kit for the RA and DEC axes. This way, the celestial object will always remain in the eyepiece, without having to manually track the movement of the stars.
