Radiant by Omegon: the search engine to find nebulae the first time and from the beginning

As the most experienced observers know, you have to spend many hours under the starry sky to learn to orient yourself well in its immensity. Although the most difficult task of all is finding objects. Now comes the Omegon Radiant finder, very different from other LED versions, with which you will not only enjoy during the search, but will also find celestial objects, even faint, successfully and from your first night of observation.

Summary of advantages:

  • The best companion on your journey through the cosmos: find all the objects you are looking for
  • No GoTo but full orientation: learn to navigate the sky better than most astronomers with computerized telescopes
  • Find objects, even faint, in the deep sky
  • Best orientation: 0.5°, 2° and 4° circular objectives
  • Adjustable lighting and adjustable to the circumstances of each observation
  • Base to mount and dismount your Radiant with complete ease

What makes the Radiant such a different search engine?
With normal LED finders you can only see a point in the sky. But, how can an inexperienced observer project the celestial chart onto the sky from there and find the object they are looking for? You need at least one reference, a starting point.

And that's precisely what Omegon's Radiant Finder offers! A flat projection will help you position yourself and calculate distances better.

0.5°, 2° and 4°: the secret of circular lenses
How are objects found in the sky? Take a celestial chart and try to find a star that you don't see. The Radiant's circular lenses will help you do this. The inner circle covers an area of 0.5 degrees, the intermediate one 2 and the outer one 4.

Adjustable for very light or very dark regions
The LED lighting can be continuously adjusted from very bright to dim so you can use your Radiante in bright or very dim areas. An advantage: this way the dark adaptation of your own eyes is respected.

Radiant Foundation
The Radiant base sticks to the tube of telescopes larger than 10 cm in diameter with two adhesive strips. The finder is fixed in the proper position by means of two locking screws.

No more frustrations when searching for celestial objects
There is nothing more frustrating than a globular cluster, nebula or galaxy that we want to see but can't find, because it wastes the entire night. It is something that happens to thousands of observers, but especially to beginners. However, with the Radiant finder you will not know this frustration, because you will successfully find your targets from the first observation session.

Who is the Omegon Radiant Finder suitable for?
For beginners and experts alike: Radiant is ideal for anyone who wants to find the celestial objects they are looking for faster or without complications. If your telescope is manual and does not have GoTo, Radiant is the perfect solution for you. And if you always end up having trouble finding your objects in the night sky, Radiant will solve them!
