MAGUS CHD10 is the entry-level HDMI camera in the MAGUS camera range. The device is installed in a microscope and allows you to take photos and record videos, process the results, and even measure study objects. Video recording is performed at 60 frames per second, which produces a high-quality Full HD image (1920x1080 pixels) without interference or distortion, even when observing moving objects. The result can be displayed on a screen in real time and saved to an SD card.
The camera is ready for autonomous operation. At the same time, additional devices can be connected to it.
Software
The proprietary software of the MAGUS CHD10 camera allows you to take photos and record videos in Full HD (1920x1080 pixels), display the image on a screen, process the image, and measure the linear and angular dimensions of objects and their structures. To perform measurements, the device's software will require calibration of each objective using a calibration slide.
Sensor
The camera uses the SONY Starvis CMOS color sensor. Its size is 1/2.8'' with a pixel size of 2.9x2.9 μm. The camera uses back-illumination technology and is capable of operating in low light conditions. Its light sensitivity is 1300 mV at 1/30 seconds. For best performance and maximum field of view with minimal distortion, use an adapter with a magnification of 0.35x to 0.6x.
Mounting on a microscope
To start using the camera, place the MAGUS CHD10 in the microscope eyepiece tube in place of an eyepiece. To connect the devices, you will need a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring for the tube diameter. The camera can also be mounted on the trinocular tube using a C-mount adapter.
Additional accessories
Additional devices can be connected to the camera to make the work more comfortable and productive:
A mouse can be connected via the USB port. Mouse control will eliminate vibrations when in direct contact with the camera
The included SD card is used to save photos and videos
Combine the camera with MAGUS line monitors. They can be mounted directly on the camera so that the entire system becomes a convenient and efficient imaging tool for MAGUS microscopes
Key Features:
Autonomous: does not require connection to a computer, equipped with its own software
The image can be easily displayed on a monitor, TV, or projector screen
High-quality Full HD images (1920x1080 pixels)
Ability to work in low light conditions thanks to the SONY Starvis CMOS sensor
