PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Omegon Pro GUIDE 2000 astronomical camera, ideal as a compact autonomous guidance system. It's also great for getting started with astrophotography of the Moon, planets, and even deep sky objects, in Full HD!

Planetary Photography for Beginners: This camera is great for getting started in the fascinating world of astronomical photography of the Solar System. You can share your photos of Jupiter, Saturn or the craters of the Moon with family and friends or experience astronomical observation with them live on the screen.

Deep Sky Astronomical Photography: The high sensitivity of this modern CMOS sensor makes nebula and galaxy photography much easier than it was a few years ago. These faint objects are difficult to capture, but thanks to the sensor's high quantum efficiency and low readout noise, details that cannot be seen with purely visual astronomy are achieved.

Autonomous guidance system: Finding a suitable guide star will no longer be a problem! Thanks to the high sensitivity of modern CMOS sensors, even faint stars can be used. Short exposure times and high guiding frequency compensate for your mount's tracking errors, both large and small. Native compatibility between the camera and PHD2 and ST4 port is a huge advantage for autonomous guidance!

A functional way: The robust anodized aluminum housing is shaped like a 31.7mm eyepiece and is compatible with any telescope. Since it is lightweight, your equipment will not have an additional burden. The camera has a C and CS thread mount and, with an adapter, a regular 3.17mm filter thread. Therefore, small CCTV lenses as well as a wide selection of astronomical filters can be connected without problems.

Transmission: A filter protects the sensor chamber from dust and moisture. Omegon Pro color cameras are equipped with a filter that blocks infrared. CMOS sensors also measure incident infrared light and make correct color reproduction in the final image impossible. In contrast, the Omegon Pro mono cameras have an anti-reflective window, which allows ultraviolet and infrared light to pass through in addition to visible light. Additional filters give you full control over the transmission curve, a critical requirement for advanced photographic or photometric applications.

Convenient capture software: With the included Omegon AstroPhotoCapture software you can learn to control the camera easily and quickly. Correct camera settings are crucial in astrophotography. AstroPhotoCapture gives you absolute control over all essential parameters without having to navigate an overloaded interface. Simple tutorials explain the capture process step by step to cap your first night of astronomical photography with success. The software is compatible with Windows 8 and 10.

Compatibility: Omegon Pro cameras are compatible with a wide range of capture programs through the common ASCOM and INDI interfaces. It also has native support for a growing number of PHD2 and NINA programs.
