Relaxed observations with the Omegon overhead mirror
To turn an observation session into a sensational experience, it is essential to be comfortable and relaxed. In many cases, this means having to use an overhead mirror. The function of this type of mirror is to divert the image 90º upwards.

All the advantages:

  • 1.25" zenith mirror with 90° deflection angle for any 1.25" telescope (non-Newton),
  • comfortable posture when observing from above,
  • It has a protective coating that provides long life to the mirror,
  • metal exterior structure for better placement in the eyepiece holder,
  • Filter thread compatible with all 1.25" size models.

For any 1.25" lens - Maksutov and SC Telescopes
The Omegon overhead mirror has a 1.25" metal connection point. Its chrome construction is not only an aesthetic issue, it is also practical, as it prevents the mirror from moving and losing its position once in the eyepiece holder. Some fixing bolts hold it without damaging it, as happens with other lower category mirrors.

Coated mirror for clear images
It boasts clear images even with a magnification factor. It has everything that a mirror of its class should have and no wonder because the zenith mirror is the bridge between the eye and the telescope. It reflects approximately 89% of the light it receives and has a coating that protects it, so that it lasts a long time... Did you know that it is more advisable to use a mirror instead of a prism (zenithal) in sky observations ?

Thread compatible with all 1.25" filters
It is normal to want to change the eyepiece without having to also change the filter. Thanks to the 1.25" thread for filters, you can observe, for example, the Moon with eyepieces with different magnification factors, always maintaining the same filter.
