With 6 Omegón chromatic filters you will discover the details of the planets.

Chromatic filters support you in observing planets. They have the function of accentuate certain details on the planetary disk by applying certain colors. When you look at the bright bands of Jupiter, or the polar caps of Mars, or other structures, chromatic filters improve the result.

The chromatic filter set consists of six color filters at an unbeatable price.

In the game you find the following filters:

  • #21 Orange - The orange filter blocks the blue and green wave ranges and accentuates the details in the cloud bands of Saturn and Jupiter. With respect to Mars, the sharpness increases in the representation of the boundaries between orange and green zones.
  • #25 Red - The red filter almost completely blocks blue and green lights, giving excellent contrasts, for example between blue-toned structures and the clearest details on the surface of the clouds of Jupiter and Saturn. But first of all it is the ideal accessory to observe the polar layers of Mars.
  • # 82A Light blue The light blue filter can be used to observe the Moon, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It improves the contrast of weakly illuminated regions without essentially interfering with the planet's light characteristics. It is also often combined with other filters.
  • #12 Yellow - The yellow filter improves the contrast of lunar craters and noticeably accentuates the channels and polar layers of Mars. Relative to Jupiter and Saturn, the contrast of the bluish ammonia clouds in the bright bands increases.
  • #56 Light green - The light green filter is the ideal accessory for observing the polar caps of Mars and the yellowish sand storms on the surface of Mars. Also increase the contrast of the reddish and bluish structures in Jupiter's atmosphere.
  • #47 Violet - The violet filter completely blocks red, yellow and green light, which is very useful for observing the polar regions of Mars. With large telescopes (> 12") you can even observe structures in the atmosphere of Venus.

Warning: Filters are not designed for sun viewing!
