The MAGUS Bio 240B educational microscope is designed for professional training. It allows you to conduct studies using transmitted light in the brightfield method and examine transparent and translucent biological samples. The microscope features a coded rotating nosepiece for four objectives with intelligent illumination: its brightness adjusts to each objective. The device is compact and easy to move and store.

The head is designed to accommodate two eyepieces and uses an infinity optical system. The head tubes can rotate a full 360 degrees, and the eye relief can be adjusted to the user's height. The microscope comes with two standard 10x/20mm eyepieces. The set also includes rubber eyecups for eyeglass wearers: these act as a protective layer between the eyeglass lenses and the eyepieces, shielding the optics from abrasions, scratches, and damage. Each tube is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring, allowing you to fine-tune the focus to suit your vision. This feature is especially useful for researchers with varying vision, as each eyepiece can be adjusted independently. If a digital camera needs to be connected to the microscope, it can be mounted on either tube after removing one of the eyepieces.

The revolving nosepiece has slots for four objectives. The nosepiece itself unfolds in an inward direction: the researcher sees their working objective directly in front of them, while the other objectives are at a distance. The advantage of this arrangement is that there is ample free workspace in front of the user. When changing objectives, the light intensity often fluctuates. This causes significant eye strain. To avoid this unpleasant effect, the MAGUS Bio 240B microscope is equipped with an intelligent illumination control system: the user adjusts the brightness for each objective once, and thus, when changing objectives, the illumination adjusts automatically. Another advantage is that the user does not have to waste time adjusting the illumination each time the objective is changed.

The microscope is equipped with a focusing system featuring coaxially arranged coarse and fine focus adjustment controls. These are located on the underside of the body and on both sides of the stand, allowing the user a comfortable position while adjusting the focus. On the left side, there is a coarse focus lock for quick image adjustment after changing objectives. On the right side, there is a ring for adjusting the stiffness of the coarse focus travel.

The stage is equipped with a belt-driven mechanism. This allows the sample to move smoothly under the objectives.

The Abbe condenser comes factory-mounted beneath the stage, centered, and adjusted to the correct vertical position: the user doesn't need to spend time or effort on installation and setup. The condenser has a numerical aperture of 1.25. The handle is used to adjust the iris diaphragm. The condenser has colored magnification markings for the lens being used: for image contrast, the handle position must be adjusted according to the lens being used.

The microscope operates using transmitted light. A 3W LED is installed as the illuminator. Its color temperature can be adjusted from 3000K to 7000K, thus adapting the illumination to the characteristics of the object being studied. The illuminator has a lifespan of 50,000 hours.

Another interesting feature of this model is the LCD screen, which displays the operating parameters: active target magnification, lighting temperature, and operating mode.

You can move the microscope using the side handles. The device is designed so that the power cord and adapter are concealed in the back of the body. This makes it aesthetically pleasing, safe, and convenient to store and transport.
