The Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M Moonstone Digital Microscope is an ideal gift for an elementary school student. This microscope allows for interesting and varied experiments, both with prepared samples and with everyday objects that interest them. And thanks to the included digital camera, you can also record the results of your research. Even a novice researcher will be able to take stunning images and videos and share them with friends on Facebook or Instagram.

High-quality optics
The lenses are made of special, highly transparent optical glass. All optical surfaces are coated with multiple anti-reflective layers. This enables the microscope to produce sharp, high-contrast images with highly detailed images. Thanks to its three objectives, it can achieve a wide magnification range, from 40x to 400x. Magnification is easily changed by rotating the turret.

Digital Camera Features
The microscope comes with a high-quality 0.3 MP digital camera. The camera inserts into the eyepiece tube (replacing the eyepiece itself) and connects to your computer using the included USB cable. Enlarged images of the samples are displayed on your computer screen, which is much more convenient than viewing them through the eyepiece. You can also take beautiful images and videos of the samples you observe. Virtually all researchers want to share the results of their studies, and with the Levenhuk Rainbow D2L 0.3M digital microscope, Moonstone will be a breeze. Diversify your Facebook page by including truly interesting and informative posts, such as images of enlarged crystals or videos of brine shrimp in motion.

A USB cable is used to power the camera and connect it to the PC. Supported operating systems: Windows, Mac OS, Linux.

Allows you to observe transparent or opaque samples
The microscope is equipped with two LED illumination systems. Using the lower illumination, you can observe transparent samples such as microorganisms in a drop of water or thin sections of plants. The upper illumination allows you to observe opaque objects, such as leaves, coins, fabric, paper, and others. To observe semi-transparent objects, you will need to use both illumination systems. The brightness can also be adjusted to help you obtain the best possible image of each sample.

Practical design
The microscope body is made of high-quality plastic, much lighter than metal but still reliable, allowing for frequent use. Its 45-degree inclined monocular head allows you to adopt a comfortable position while observing samples. The illumination can be plugged into an electrical outlet or powered by batteries. The digital camera is powered by connecting it to a computer with a USB cable.

Caution: Check the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V, and in most European countries it's 220–240V.

The kit includes everything you need to explore the microcosm
The microscope comes with a Levenhuk K50 experiment kit. This microscope includes everything a beginner in biology research could want, from slides with pre-prepared samples to special tools for preparing your own samples. The user manual contains all the necessary information about the microscope, recommendations and tips for its use, and descriptions of experiments.
