The BRESSER EQ-3 is a German equatorial telescope mount that can be used universally for light to medium weight telescope tubes with a net weight of up to 5 kg.
The only requirement for mounting the telescope tube is a Vixen GP universal profile dovetail mounting bar - found on many telescopes available on the market. This high-quality equatorial mount allows easy alignment with the celestial pole in no time and then allows tracking of all celestial objects manually with its single RA axis. Both axes (RA and DEC) come with manual slow motion control cables, for easy adjustment of the pointing of your telescope. Also included is a robust, yet lightweight aluminum field tripod, which can be individually adjusted in leg height providing perfect stability, even on uneven terrain. The included 1.5kg counterweight is used to adjust the balance between the telescope tube and the mount.
More counterweights can be supplied if necessary.
 
NOTE: If you want automatic tracking of the right ascension of celestial targets , this telescope mount can be equipped with the optional motor kit Art. 4951400.
