Star Adventurer GTi Wi-Fi GoTo Mount SET

Since its introduction, the Star Adventurer has set the standard for lightweight, portable mounts for astrophotography. With the Star Adventurer GTi, Skywatcher takes it a step further.

The new Star Adventurer GTi is equipped with a built-in illuminated Polar finderscope for precise alignment. It features a USB interface and autoguiding connection and can be optionally operated with a handheld controller. There's also a connection socket for a DSLR camera, which can be programmed via Sky-Watcher's SynScan Pro app for iOS and Android. The counterweight bar can be attached to a second threaded socket for use near the equator. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, the mount can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet using the SynScan app.

With the GoTo function and adjustable tracking speeds for the Moon, Sun, and (sidereal) stars, you can enjoy every opportunity to explore and photograph the sky.

With a load capacity of up to 5 kg, the Star Adventurer GTi mount can also handle heavy DSLR or mirrorless cameras with telephoto lenses. Another great option is to combine it with a small refractor telescope and an astronomical camera.

This mount is compatible with all telescopes with a Vixen-type prism rail.

Connection to a photographic tripod is via a 3/8" photographic thread.

The mount has a battery compartment, but can also be powered by an external 12-volt power supply.
