The 12.5x eyepiece is used for 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 60x, and 100x objectives. The eyepiece is installed in a 30mm diameter tube. It has a diopter adjustment ring to compensate for the user's vision. Therefore, the eyepiece can be used with microscopes that do not have a diopter adjustment ring on the eyepiece tube. If the microscope has such an adjustment mechanism, the focus can be adjusted on both the eyepiece and the microscope. The eye relief of 10mm makes the microscope comfortable to use for eyeglass wearers.
