Spherical aberration correction for better results

Premium Flatfield eyepieces correct spherical aberration, a distortion of the image. This correction allows you to enjoy the entire field of view, not just the center, as images are sharp right to the edges. They reproduce astronomical objects with complete naturalness.

Multi-coating and clear images

At first glance, the size of the lenses in these eyepieces is striking, allowing for crystal-clear images. The high quality of the 5-6 optical elements and the high transmission provide colorful images with excellent contrast. This is especially noticeable in planetary observations, for example. Jupiter is not only clearly visible, but also displays a wealth of detail, allowing for the differences in its band structure to be appreciated.

Adjustable rubber eyecups

Continuous adjustment of the rubber eyecup position for complete eye relief—ideal for extended viewing. The 16 mm, 19 mm, and 27 mm focal length models allow viewing with eyeglasses.

Field of view between 58° and 65°

How does observing a large object with this eyepiece differ from observing it with a standard Kellner or Plössl eyepiece? For example, when observing the Lagoon Nebula with an 8" Newtonian telescope and f/5 using a standard eyepiece, part of the object is outside our field of view. However, with this wide-angle model (approximately 19 mm), we can observe the entire object. These eyepieces create 20-30% larger fields of view than standard models.
