An adjustable output is best suited for operating a DSLR or mirrorless camera. You can adjust the voltage to different values (3, 5, 8, 9 or 12 V). Various battery adapters for Canon, Nikon, Sony, FUJI cameras are available as optional accessories.

Integrated ammeter and voltmeter

An accurate voltmeter displays the input voltage in real time. If it exceeds 14 V, the current input is cut off instantly to protect your equipment. An ammeter at the input records the total current drawn. There are also 3 additional ammeters, one for the 12V outputs and the other two for the interchangeable protection channels. This allows you to control the energy consumption of your equipment in detail.

Autonomous operation

The Pocket Powerbox Advance is “out of the box” as a stand-alone unit. Simply plug in your equipment and you're ready to go. Since you will not have to connect a PC for each operation if you do not want to. As simple as that!

In combination with the main program that works as a server, you can use the latest ASCOM 6.4 drivers to read environmental parameters using software compatible recording devices, such as Sequence Generator Pro/MaximDL ( ASCOM Observing Conditions ), and turn the 12V outputs on or off (ASCOM switches).

The Pocket Powerbox Advance is also fully INDI compatible – pair it with a Stellarmate or any other device that can use INDI.

LED power status indicator and error message

The warning LED can flash in different patterns to warn you of power problems, such as too low or too high input voltage. Although it is very dim, if desired you can turn off the LED using the software .

Reverse polarity protection
