The best view of the night sky is found in places away from artificial lighting. Unfortunately, we will not find a power outlet in these places either. However, there is no reason to do without the convenience of a GoTo mount! With the Omegon external battery 38k You will be able to operate your telescope mount all night long.

The 38k is a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 38,000 mAh (native at 3.7V). This corresponds to 144 Wh, or 12 Ah at 12 V, enough to power a medium-sized telescope mount for 6-10 hours.

Unlike old-fashioned lead acid batteries, the 38k is small and lightweight, and fits in any accessory bag. You also won't have to worry about accidentally damaging the battery by charging it incorrectly or completely discharging it.

Four small LEDs indicate the battery charge level, which can be easily recharged with the included power adapter.

The built-in protection against short circuits, overcharging or total discharge not only protects the battery itself, but also the mount that is connected.

All mounts can be connected with a cigarette lighter cable.
