The Levenhuk Halo 13X digital night vision binoculars are the perfect aid for observations in total darkness. They are suitable for observing suburbs and natural landscapes, as well as for exploring unfamiliar areas. They will be indispensable for ensuring safety on long hikes. Conveniently, they can also be used for daytime observations, just like conventional binoculars. This allows you to carry a single observation device with you on your travels.

Night detection range: up to 300 meters

The optics are made of glass with an anti-reflective silicon dioxide coating. This allows the optics to function more efficiently in complete darkness, transmitting a sharper, higher-contrast image. During the day, you can study any object located at a distance of three meters or more. At night, the viewing range is limited to 300 meters. To improve visibility, turn on the infrared LED illumination; its brightness is adjustable. Turn the backlight off completely to conserve battery power. Brighter illumination will provide the best image detail. Note that the device can produce a color image, a black and white image, a bright green image, or an image with a color film effect. However, the color image is not available when night mode is activated.

Photo and video recording

This device allows you to not only observe, but also record videos and take photographs. In both cases, the photo resolution is 2048x1536 pixels. However, if you need to save space on the memory card, the resolution can be reduced to 640x480 pixels. Thanks to the 30 frames per second frame rate, the videos are smooth. Usually, 24 frames per second is sufficient, but on the Levenhuk Halo 13X, this is increased to improve video quality. You can immediately view the images you have recorded on the device's screen, which is convenient. These binoculars support memory cards up to 32 GB. You can transfer the images to a computer using a USB cable.

The batteries provide 10 hours of operating autonomy.

The electronic and optical components are housed in an ergonomic body, which is splash-proof and features a non-slip surface. The binoculars are comfortable to hold. The control buttons are positioned directly under your fingers when using the binoculars. The device is easy to operate, and menu navigation is very convenient. The night vision device operates on standard AA batteries or rechargeable Ni-MH AA batteries. We recommend carrying an extra set of batteries to prevent the device from running out of power at the most inconvenient moment. Although this is highly unlikely, a set of standard or rechargeable batteries provides 4 to 10 hours of continuous operation. Battery life depends on the intensity of the backlight used.

Note : Infrared illumination can be detected by photographic and video cameras, as well as other similar electronic devices during operation.
