Levenhuk New Atom 8x40 Binoculars Porro prisms. Magnification: 8x. Objective lens diameter: 40 mm Featuring Porro prisms in a classic configuration, the Levenhuk New Atom 8x40 binoculars are perfect for daily observations. Their BK-7 glass optics have fully coated lenses, providing 8x magnification with a 40mm objective aperture. This guarantees high-quality viewing in both full daylight and at dusk, offering sharp images with excellent contrast and realistic color rendition. The body, made of aluminum alloy, is relatively lightweight and features IPX3-rated weather protection against precipitation. This model offers excellent value for money thanks to its features and performance.
One of its strengths, considering its magnification, is its wide field of view (140 m at 1000 m) and its true angle of view (8.2°). The minimum focusing distance is 12 m, which is standard for optics of this class. Focusing is adjusted via a large central focus wheel with a comfortable rubber coating and smooth operation. The interpupillary distance can be adjusted between 56 mm and 72 mm to suit most users. Diopter correction is available in a range of ±3D. The binoculars include a tripod adapter (sold separately), which is very useful for prolonged stationary observations.
The Levenhuk New Atom 8x40 binoculars include essential accessories for comfortable use: protective caps for the eyepiece and objective, a strap, a microfiber cleaning cloth for the optics, and a pouch.
