This set of filters is suitable for observing the moon and planets with telescopes with an aperture from 150mm (6")

The set includes the following filters:

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Filter 1.25" light blue nr. 82A - 0310265
The light blue color makes it easy to observe high cloud cover on Mars. Contrast is increased. Dark, reddish structures are seen darker. Therefore, this is the perfect filter to observe the great red spot of the gaseous planet Jupiter. Saturn's rings are highlighted, the structures of Venus' atmosphere appear clearer.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Filter 1.25" violet no. 47 - 0310272
The violet filter is used to observe Venus. Thanks to it, the dark clouds in Venus' atmosphere can be better observed. It also enhances the structures of Saturn's rings. If you have a large aperture, it is worth using this filter on the planet Mercury if there is good visibility.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Filter 1.25" light red nr. 23A - 0310271
Blue and blue-green light is completely blocked. The contrast between light and dark areas is drastically increased. This phenomenon is very favorable for the observation of Jupiter and Saturn. You can also see the polar caps of Mars.

EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC Filter 1.25" green yellow nr. 11 - 0310269
The contrast increases noticeably when observing the lunar surface. Also in the observation of Mars. On the giant planet Jupiter, the contrast between the cloud strips increases noticeably, and in this way you will be able to observe more and more. From telescope diameters of 8" and with good viewing conditions you will be able to observe some details of Saturn.
