The Levenhuk LabZZ prepared slides set includes ready-to-use samples in a handy bright box. Children can start exploring the world around them without having to spend time preparing slides. This set can be used with any biological microscope designed for observations in transmitted light (with lower illumination).

All samples are divided into groups by category and combined on slides to allow for easy movement on the microscope stage. The slides are covered with colored paper that has transparent round slots. Each sample is labeled. The samples are stored in a durable cardboard box.

It takes a lot of time to prepare your own slides. In addition, preparing them requires instruments and skills. First, you need to make a small cut with a microtome, a special instrument with a sharp blade. Then, you need to smooth the cut with a needle on the stage, stain it if necessary, and cover it with a coverslip. However, even if everything is done correctly, the sample may turn out to be unsuitable for study and you will have to start over. Save time and avoid frustrations with ready-to-use microscope slides.
