The telescope series Astro Fi offers beginner models with the same advanced electronics as Celestron's large telescopes. It is controlled via a tablet or smartphone, so A control knob is not included .

SkyAlign : This telescope is equipped with Celestron's SkyAlign technology. This means that you can use the computer to align it on the sky by moving successively towards any three bright objects in the sky. This initialization of computer control at the beginning of an observation is also called alignment.

For SkyAlign, it is not necessary to know what these three bright stars are called. There may even be a planet between those three celestial bodies. From the measured angles, location, date and time, the computer calculates the current starry sky at your viewing location. Once you have performed this simple procedure at the beginning of your observation, you can access computer control (GoTo) and get the highlights of the night.

WiFi-Ready: this telescope generates its own WLAN , through which you can control the telescope with your phone or tablet. The free SkyPortal app by Celestron for iPhone, iPad and Android serves as control software, but also as planetarium software that shows the starry sky and provides a lot of information about the objects: descriptions, illustrations and content in audio format (in English).

Through the SkyPortal application, the computer control also automatically receives the necessary information about its location (GPS), date and time.

The single-arm azimuthal mount carries small telescopes. It is easy to transport and is immediately ready for use. Simply attach the telescope with its prismatic rail to the mounting arm and you're done. The optic can then be easily detached from the mount. The handle is practical and safe for transportation.

Since the clamp for the binocular rail is standard, you can use a wide variety of different telescopes.

The optical system N130/650:

This telescope offers the reasonable basis for the hobby of astronomy . With a luminous capacity that exceeds that of a 114mm telescope by 30 percent, the beginner in astronomy has an instrument to observe some fascinating astronomical objects. The 130 mm aperture and 650 mm focal length form the basis of a powerful optical system that in the deep space already represents many nebulas. Due to the aperture ratio of f/5, the telescope is also ideal for performing wide field observations. Open star clusters They are very aesthetic objects. Thanks to its reduced length, the telescope is mounted very stably even on small mounts and offers reduced balancing times. From an aesthetic point of view, the optical system is a true gem: it stands out for its extremely elegant design.

The advantages at sight:

  • luminous capacity 344 times
  • resistant to vibrations and unwanted movements thanks to compact construction
  • easy transport and assembly

We supply:

  • tube with optical system
  • telescopic eyepiece tube
  • eyepieces
  • seeker
