The Celestron Origin 152/335 RASA is a next-generation smart telescope that combines astronomical observing and astrophotography into a single, easy-to-use experience. Its f/2.2 Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt (RASA) optics deliver high-quality images with very short exposure times, ideal for capturing finely detailed nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters.

Thanks to its Sony IMX178 CMOS sensor with STARVIS technology, it provides high sensitivity and low noise, ensuring sharp photographs even in urban skies with light pollution. The entire system is easily controlled from the Celestron Origin app for iOS or Android, which integrates planetarium, object selection, and real-time astrophotography functions.

The Origin is portable and self-contained , with a built-in rechargeable battery , motorized GoTo mount, and automatic dew avoidance. Its rugged design and stainless steel tripod ensure stability and durability in any observing environment. It also includes a 1.25" and 2" filter drawer , ideal for customizing your experience with deep-sky or narrowband filters.

More than just a telescope, the Celestron Origin is a smart home observatory : you can schedule sessions, share live images with family and friends, and even store RAW data for processing with specialized software.

🔭 Main advantages :

  • Fast f/2.2 astrograph with RASA optical technology.
  • High-resolution and high-sensitivity Sony CMOS sensor.
  • Complete control from smartphone or tablet.
  • Internal battery with more than 6 hours of use.
