  • Telescope to get started in Astronomy
  • Ideal for planets, Moon, Earth observations
  • Quality optics. Sharp image.
  • Very easy to transport, light and compact.

The smallest model in the Maksutov-Cassegrain range offered by Sky-Watcher, The Mak 90 is very portable thanks to its great compactness and lightness . The primary mirror, combined with the secondary mirror and a multi-layer treated concave meniscus, gives amazing results in planetarium. The observation of Saturn, Jupiter or the Moon is surprising and very pleasant on such an instrument. Complemented by long focal length eyepieces, observing the brightest deep sky objects such as the Great Orion Nebula (M42) or the Hercules Cluster (M13) will satisfy the curious beginner.

The observation of Saturn, accompanied by its rings, is fantastic. Jupiter, the largest planet in the solar system, reveals fine details of its atmosphere. The Moon is a wonder that you can contemplate for a long time, since the number of craters that dot its surface is very important. There is no chromaticism, unlike the achromatic glasses of refracting telescopes .

The Mak90's transportability and versatility will make it an ideal instrument for the nomadic astronomer also tempted by terrestrial observation . Landscapes, animals, birds or architectural details will then be the main objectives. The set is compact, lightweight and easily transportable for those who wish to observe under the best skies, quickly set up their equipment on their balcony/table or take their telescope on a trip or vacation.

Direct adaptation to a photographic tripod with the optional possibility of coupling to an equatorial mount using a dovetail type plate.
