Meade's Infinity series telescopes are perfect for anyone looking for a tool economical to start in observing the sky.

  • Explore the Moon and the planets : discover the craters and lunar mountains, delight in the colorful rings of Saturn and observe the four large moons of Jupiter as Galileo Galilei once did. But also bright nebulae, such as that of Orion at 1350 light years, or countless binary stars , like the beautiful Albireo in the constellation of the Swan.
  • The azimuthal mount is intuitive and easy to assemble. And since the tripod is also very light, this is an ideal system for taking outside.
  • The delivery includes everything you need, especially eyepieces with which to achieve different magnification factors. The 1.25" eyepiece attachment is standard and compatible with other accessories.

The optical system AC 70/700:

With an aperture of 70mm, this refractor has a luminous potential 100 times bigger than the human eye and therefore considerably outperforms classic beginner telescopes with a slightly smaller aperture of 60mm. It means that you have a higher resolution and, with his maximum magnification of 140 times, now makes available details of the large planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. The Moon is also a very interesting object: you can excellently observe the lunar surface with its craters which, depending on the phase, appear with different aspects. It is also possible to perform interesting observations of nature during the day and with the support of an inversion lens or an Amici prism. The system focuses using an adjustment wheel located on the telescopic tube of the eyepiece that operates a toothed bar. This way you can precisely adjust the system and set it for observation.

The optical system is also ideal for use as a scope, combined with a large telescope for to photograph either follow the objects .

Frame AZ-1: This is a mount highly appreciated by astronomical beginners, as it stands out for its easy drive . The entire telescope can be moved without problems both altazimuthally and with respect to height. For you as a beginner, this has the advantage that you do not have to engage in complicated pre-adjustment of the telescope. You position your telescope so very quick and simple : Position tripod and mount, mount the telescope and that's it.
