The Omegon 150/750 EQ-4 Newtonian Reflecting Telescope It is the ideal instrument to introduce yourself to astronomy. This telescope is characterized by its high stability and the possibility of preparing the first astronomical photos.

The 150/750 optical system :

The "fast" aperture ratio of 1:5 gives the telescope great luminous potential that shows many details of the objects observed. It exceeds about 600 times the capacity of the human eye. The centers of globular clusters such as M13 or M92 can be observed with high resolution. Many galaxies can be observed; Emission nebulae such as Omega or Orion reveal filaments and, thanks to this telescope, appear as impressive astronomical objects in both summer and winter. Even planets show many details of their real nature. For example, you can observe Jupiter's clouds and follow the Great Red Spot as it passes over the planet. With an aperture of 150mm it even captures the shadow of the large satellites on Jupiter . In addition, it offers the possibility of becoming familiar with astrophotography and taking, for example, photos of the moon. If you are looking for a telescope that is both powerful and compact, you will find the ideal option here.

The advantages at sight:

  • Great resolving power per 150 mm aperture
  • 1.25" telescopic eyepiece tube with wide focusing range
  • Easily find objects
  • Adjustment screws on main and secondary mirrors
  • Compact, thanks to the length of only 66 cm
  • 185mm tube outer diameter

The supply includes the following components:

  • 25 mm Plössl eyepiece , with magnification factor 30
  • 6.5 mm Plössl eyepiece , with magnification factor 115
  • LED viewer to easily search for astronomical objects
  • 2 x Barlow lens to double the magnification of the eyepiece

The EQ-4 mount:

The equatorial mount EQ-4 Provides a solid foundation for your telescope's optical system. Thanks to this combination it can reach any point in the night sky and easily follow the path of astronomical objects. With the fine control of the right ascension and declination axes you can adjust noticeably the objects, follow them and keep them in your field of vision. A counterweight guarantees the exact balance of the optical system. He integrated pole finder telescope and the solid block of poles facilitate the first steps in the astrophotography. Don't just look for the North Star, but also find the invisible north celestial pole within a few minutes. You can conveniently adjust the desired height of the aluminum tripod. Using the built-in spherical bubble level you can position your telescope exactly and perpendicularly.

Unlike the EQ-3 mount:

  • The EQ-4 mount offers much more stability
  • Noticeably reduced vibration sensitivity
  • More robust execution counterweight bar
  • Clearly more robust pole block
  • Possibility of very fine azimuthal adjustments
  • Only the EQ-4 mount is equipped with a pole finder telescope.

Additional features:

The EQ-4 mount included with this telescope is suitable for the installation of a tracking motor that is sold separately. This motor keeps the astronomical object in the telescope's field of view without automatically losing it. This option is perfect if you are passionate about astrophotography, since for long exposure photos you will need to keep the camera fixed on the object to be photographed.

The motor can also be purchased in our store. Click here for more information.
