Achromatic refractor with a diameter of 70 mm, this model is perfect for the beginner who wants to invest in an instrument that allows them to discover the planets and the Moon for a moderate budget. Its long focal length of 900mm gives it a high aperture ratio that reduces the influence of chromaticism (appearance of colored edges at high magnifications). The two-element achromatic air lens is multi-layered processing and provides quality low and medium magnification images of Jupiter, Saturn (the ringed planet), and the many lunar craters.

With 36% more light compared to a 60mm bezel, it offers more possibilities.

The EQ1 mount allows for fine positioning in the sky thanks to hoses on each axis. Mounting collars allow the bezel to be adapted to the frame. The design in equatorial mode allows after positioning (simple adjustment of the orientation of the mount towards the North Star) to compensate for rotation not in two axes (altaz mount) but only in one. You can even add a motor as an option for added convenience.
