If you are traveling by plane, camping or hiking to the nearest lake. Whenever there is no power outlet available, this handy and compact solar panel will help you with power supply.

Just open it, put it on and immediately produce green solar energy
The handling is very simple. Open the solar panel and align it to the sun as perpendicularly as possible. You can connect the devices to be charged via a suitable USB cable (USB cable not included) or via the included DC connection cable and it will start charging immediately.

Universal charger with flexible connection options
Almost all devices with a USB power connection can be charged without problem. Two black USB A sockets are available for normal charging and another orange USB A with the QC3.0 standard for fast charging of new generations of devices. Delivery includes an additional universal connection cable with a hollow DC plug with a diameter of 5.5/2.1 mm and a length of 2.5 meters, as well as 3 plug adapters (3.5/1.35 mm, 5.5/2.5mm, 8.0/5.5/0.8mm). The polarity of the connectors is as follows: Inner contact = positive (+), outer contact = negative (-).

Devices that can be charged

All devices with a USB power connection or the DC power plug with the connection mentioned above, such as smartphones, tablets, power accumulators, portable playstations, MP4 players, GPS devices and Bluetooth Headphones For charging large power plants, We recommend powerful solar panels with an output power of at least 60 watts - see article no. 3810050, 3810060, 3810070.

How long does it take to charge a battery?
Most modern devices with built-in batteries indicate the current state of charge of the battery on a display or on status LEDs. The charging process is also automatically done by the internal charger of the smartphone or tablet, etc., as soon as the battery is full.

However, it is useful to know how long a full charge theoretically lasts with an empty battery. This is important, for example, to select the right solar panel for the requirements of your devices that are to be charged.

Here's a little calculation. Divide the battery capacity (mAh) by the charger charging current (mA) and multiply by a factor of 75. This gives you the approximate charging time in minutes it takes to fully charge the battery to 100%. duration of the sun.
Example: A battery with a capacity of 3000mAh (3.0 Ah) and a charging current via a 5-volt USB connection of 3100mA (3.1 amps). OS 3100 x 75 = 73 minutes. Dividing the result by 60 gives the charging time in hours: 1.2 hours.
This means that an average smartphone can be fully charged in just 1.2 hours with a 40-watt solar panel.

Carabiner hooks included for mounting
To ensure that the solar panel can be securely mounted on an object and aligned with the sun, 4 robust carabiners are included in the scope of DELIVERY. They can be attached to the riveted ring eyelets of the solar panel and allow a stable fixation, e.g. For example, to a tent loop, fence or other suitable attachment points.

Innovative solar cell technology with high efficiency
Monocrystalline silicon cells ensure high efficiency and the fastest possible charging of the device's batteries. This means maximum electricity output per surface. Despite its compact design, relatively high charging currents and short charging times are possible.

Easy transport
Thanks to the modern, flat design, the individual segments of the solar panel can be folded into a small bag and stored in luggage. Always ready for the next spontaneous use.

Resistant, dust and water repellent materials
The durable Cordura fabric is extremely tear resistant, but remains flexible. Protects valuable solar panel from damage and provides stability during use. The solar panel repels dust and water, so it can withstand most weather conditions, making it ideal for almost all outdoor activities. However, the solar panel should not be exposed to direct rain or strong humidity.

IMPORTANT NOTE
  • The solar panel does not have a built-in charger or charge controller. Therefore, it is not suitable for directly charging loose battery cells or lead acid batteries. It is only suitable for smartphones, tablets and power accumulators, for example, because they always have built-in chargers.
  • The solar panel does not have its own battery, but serves exclusively as a source of energy in sunlight to charge electronic devices.
  • When connecting the devices to be charged via the DC bus, always ensure the required voltage and correct polarity. Otherwise, damage may occur to the electronics of the solar panel and the devices to be charged.
  • Do not leave the solar panel outdoors overnight in high humidity or in the rain. This could damage the internal electronics.
