Variable polarizing filter for universal use with 1.25" filter threads.
This variable polarizing filter allows you to continuously adjust the brightness of the image. This filter is highly practical for individually leveling large contrast differences of various objects. Especially designed for lunar and planetary observations but also suitable for solar observations, this filter prevents the glare of small details.
Only perform solar observations with the use of an appropriate solar filter!!!
Especially when used with a Herschel wedge or with large objective apertures, the variable polarizing filter can reduce the brightness of observed objects to an appropriate level.
The wide adjustment range from 40% down to 1% light transmission and the neutral gray filter effect produce a realistic and pleasant image.
It is easy to use. By rotating its two housing halves, you can set the desired filter intensity.
Both sides with 1.25" thread (internal/external) allow you to simultaneously use color filters.
