Microscope with magnification: 100–300x. Experiment kit included.
The Levenhuk LabZZ M1 microscope is designed for young explorers of the microcosm. It will help young scientists take their first steps in science, and it comes with everything they need: an easy-to-use microscope, pre-prepared slides with samples for observation, and special tools for working with the samples. Children can use this optical instrument independently and explore the surprising structures of everyday objects.
The Levenhuk LabZZ M1 microscope is equipped with a bottom illumination system that allows for viewing transparent samples. Among the variety of samples available for viewing are those prepared on slides, living organisms in a drop of water, and many other objects. The illumination rotates; on one side there is a mirror (used when there is sufficient daylight) and on the other an LED. The LED is powered by two AA batteries (not included).
In addition to observing the prepared samples on the included slides, children can also prepare their own slides with samples. Simply place the sample in the center of an empty slide, secure it, and cover it with a coverslip. The most interesting samples can be saved for future observation.
The Levenhuk LabZZ M1 microscope has three fixed magnifications: 100x, 200x, and 300x. The desired magnification can be selected by rotating the turret. A separate focusing screw is used to adjust the image for sharpness. The stage features special metal clamps that hold the specimen in place during observations.
