BRESSER Messier AR152L/1200 EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo Telescope

With its large aperture and long focal length of 1200 mm, the high-quality optics deliver sharp, high-contrast images that impress with every observation. This telescope is particularly suitable for detailed views of Mars, Jupiter, and other stars. You can also explore the Sun using the included objective filter. The mount is equipped with precise GoTo control and is very easy to operate with the intuitive ExploreStars app. Thanks to extremely precise tracking, the selected celestial object will always remain in the field of view.

The Telescope

For demanding planetary observers, the BRESSER Messier AR-152L is a dream device. Discover structures in Jupiter's cloud bands, the finest furrows and craters on the Moon's surface, and structures on Mars, including the icy polar caps of our neighboring planet. Observe the dance of Jupiter's moons around the planet and discover the greenish glow of Uranus, far beyond Saturn's orbit! The combination of a large aperture and a long focal length allows for sharp, high-contrast images that will amaze you every time. And with the high-quality objective solar filter, you can also safely observe our own star. (Attention: Never point the telescope at the sun without a solar filter!)

The Mount

The EXPLORE SCIENTIFIC EXOS-2 PMC-Eight GoTo Mount is equipped with a modern and very precise GoTo control system. It consists of a robust Wi-Fi control unit that provides all necessary interfaces. The NEMA-11 stepper motors are connected directly to this unit via cable, and it also has an ST-4 compatible autoguider interface. In addition, the control system supports micro-step operation to ensure precise tracking.

Intuitive Control via App and Graphical Star Chart
The ExploreStars app, developed specifically for the PMC-Eight system, surprises with a very intuitive and well-designed graphical user interface. The alignment stars available for initializing the control, as well as all celestial objects in the database, are displayed as a star map with additional text information. All these objects can be easily viewed and selected.

Powerful Control Unit with Open GoTo for Customization
The heart of the control unit consists of a completely autonomous 2-channel multi-processor with 8 CPUs and a 10/100 Ethernet Wi-Fi adapter with IP function. This allows for remote operation via browser, ASCOM, app, or serial connection. With Open GoTo, it is also possible to write and upload your own firmware to the control unit. This allows for custom adjustments of the device's functions, as well as the creation of custom object lists, etc.

Polar Finder Included
The included and pre-installed Polar Finder allows for quick and precise alignment and long exposure times without unwanted star trails. The integrated LED illumination unit further enhances the comfort of using the polar finder.
