AZ-Bellavista 70/700 Beginner Telescope: an easy way to get started in astronomy and nature observation

Have you always wanted to get closer to the stars? This complete set offers you sharp optics and a stable AZ mount with a stainless steel tripod. It provides the perfect base for exploring the craters of the Moon, viewing Saturn's rings, or simply observing birds in nature during the day. With this telescope, you're guaranteed to get started and enjoy the experience from the very first minute. Simply mount, point, and admire the stars or nature.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Easy start: assemble your telescope in minutes and begin your first observations right away.
  • Sharp and high-contrast images: with the high-quality optical glass lens you will be able to see the details of the Moon and planets.
  • Precise focus adjustment: With the Crayford focuser, you can focus with precision and finesse, something unique in beginner telescopes of this size.
  • Lightweight and easy to carry: take your telescope to your favorite places and observe the stars even better.
  • Everything you need to get started: a complete kit with LED finder, two Plössl eyepieces, de amici prism, Barlow lens, extender, smartphone adapter, and Bluetooth shutter release. So start your adventure right away!

A window to the universe: achromatic optics
The heart of this telescope is its high-quality achromatic optics. Two lenses work together to deliver a sharp, clear image with minimal chromatic aberration. This means you'll be able to see details of planets like Jupiter and Saturn, such as cloud bands and the famous rings. The Moon becomes a landscape of craters, grooves, and mountains that you can explore for hours. And you can also see bright deep-sky objects like the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy.

Sharpness is crucial: Crayford-type focuser
Many beginner telescopes are equipped with simple rack and pinion focusers. These often wobble and make focusing a test of patience. But this telescope puts an end to that: it features a Crayford focuser. This feature is rarely found in other beginner telescope series, as it was originally designed for advanced amateur astronomers. A fusion of telescopes into a new kind: Horizon! But what can this Crayford focuser do? Because it operates with ball bearings, it can focus the object smoothly and without play, even at very high magnifications. Now you'll find perfect sharpness immediately, right from the start.

More than just stars: also ideal for nature observation
With the included de amici prism, your telescope transforms into a powerful spotting scope for terrestrial observation. Unlike typical astronomical telescopes, you'll see an upright image without lateral inversion. This allows you to observe birds in trees, shy wildlife at the edge of the forest, or distant mountain peaks during the day. This makes the telescope a versatile companion for anyone who wants to explore the world, day or night.

The intuitive mount for quick and clear observations both day and night
A bird basking in the sun, a deer grazing at the edge of the forest, or the moon in the daytime sky? There are many situations where you spontaneously point a telescope at an object. That's where the Omegon AZ Bellavista mount comes in. It works as easily as a good photographic tripod, yet is as stable and precise as a mount for stargazing. A perfect choice for anyone who loves quick observations.

Advantages at a glance:

  • Ready in an instant: simply place the telescope or attach it to the L-rail and you're ready to go. It's very easy to use and you'll understand it immediately.
  • Smooth movement: Precise gears on both axes move the telescope smoothly and without jerking. This allows you to point at any target and track it effortlessly.
  • For nature and the stars: observe animals at the edge of the forest or objects in the sky.
  • Stable: The stable stainless steel tripod ensures a sharp image. This allows you to see every detail, even at high magnification.
  • Universal mount: The mount is compatible with many telescopes. You can mount your telescope quickly and securely.

Easy to use: up, down, left and right
There's no need for complicated polar alignment. With the AZ Bellavista mount, you can easily move your telescope left, right, up, and down. It functions like a good camera tripod. This makes the mount ideal for quick, spontaneous observations. Whether you're observing the moon, planets, or objects on Earth, you'll find your target in just a few seconds.

Precision you can feel: smooth and precise movement
A simple photographic tripod doesn't move with such precision. The Bellavista has precision gears on both axes, controlled by two rotating handwheels. This allows you to keep your lens exactly centered, even at high magnification. These smooth, precise movements make all the difference and ensure relaxed observation.

A steel base: a robust tripod
A good mount needs a stable tripod. That's why the Bellavista AZ has a very robust stainless steel tripod. It guarantees a stable image, even in windy conditions or when bumped. The practical accessory tray attaches easily. It keeps your eyepieces and other items always within easy reach. This base allows you to get the most out of your telescope's performance.

Omegon Accessory Box: What good is the best telescope without the right accessories?
With the Omegon accessory kit, you'll get a coordinated set of equipment that makes getting started as easy as possible. Instead of having to painstakingly search for individual eyepieces and adapters, you'll find everything you need for your first observations and even your first photos of the Moon. And all of it is of superior quality. What do you need to get started? Something that lets you make impressive observations right away. This includes two eyepieces for low and medium magnifications. Sometimes you want to get even closer to the action. That's what the included 2x Barlow lens is for. Simply place it between the eyepiece and the telescope, and it doubles the magnification of the corresponding eyepiece. An LED finder is essential for quickly locating and finding objects. A bright red dot in the dark shows you exactly where you're going. You'll soon realize that this discreet component is just as important as your telescope. And with the extension tube, you can always achieve the correct focusing plane.

Your smartphone becomes an astronomical camera
Perhaps the most exciting part of the accessory kit is the smartphone adapter. With it, you can attach your own mobile phone directly to the eyepiece and take photos of what you're observing. Capture the distinctive landscapes of the Moon or photograph Jupiter with its moons. The included Bluetooth shutter control ensures shake-free images. Share your fascination with the starry sky with your family and friends. It couldn't be easier.
