The Levenhuk Kelvin Bright STR90 combines traditional astronomical observation with the capabilities of a modern smart telescope. Its automated system allows for locating, tracking, photographing, and processing astronomical objects from your mobile phone, significantly simplifying entry into astrophotography.

Unlike many smart telescopes exclusively dedicated to digital photography, the STR90 retains the possibility of visual observation using an eyepiece, allowing you to observe the sky while the camera captures images. Its achromatic refractor with a 90 mm aperture and 500 mm focal length (f/5.6) provides a wide field especially suitable for large deep-sky objects, star clusters, and terrestrial observation.

Smart Astrophotography with Real-Time Stacking

The Kelvin Bright STR90 automates one of the most important processes in deep-sky astrophotography: image stacking.

Once the object is selected, the telescope tracks it, successively captures multiple frames, and automatically combines them. The image progressively increases in detail, contrast, and brightness directly on the smartphone screen.

This allows for obtaining color photographs of nebulae, galaxies, and clusters without the need for complex post-processing on a computer, making astrophotography much more accessible for new users.

90 mm Refractor for Large Star Fields

The STR90 is the refractor model in the Kelvin Bright series. Its 90/500 mm optics offer a relatively fast focal ratio of f/5.6, providing a wide field particularly interesting for observing and photographing large celestial structures.

Objects such as the Orion Nebula (M42), the Pleiades (M45), large open clusters, or the Andromeda Galaxy (M31) can especially benefit from this configuration.

The optics use fully multi-coated optical glass, while the main tube is made of aluminum.

Visual Observation and Photography at the Same Time

One of the most interesting features of the Kelvin Bright STR90 is the ability to combine visual observation and digital capture.

While the guide scope and astronomical camera work on the selected object, the main optical tube can be used for observation through an eyepiece. This way, the experience is not limited to just viewing an image on the phone screen.

The kit includes a 25 mm Plössl eyepiece and a 90° diagonal mirror, so it can be used visually from the first session.

For planetary imaging at a larger scale, the camera can also be installed in the main optical tube.

52 mm ED Apochromatic Guide Scope

The system incorporates an ED apochromatic refractor guide scope with a 52 mm aperture and 255 mm focal length, with a focal ratio of approximately f/5.

GAFAS PARA LA OBSERVACIÓN DE ECLIPSE

  • INSTRUCCIONES: Revise antes de cada uso. No utilice ni deseche si está dañado, rasgado, perforado o separado de alguna manera del marco. No lo use con otros dispositivos ópticos. No es un juguete. Los niños deben usarlo solo bajo la supervisión de un adulto. Limítese a 3 minutos de uso continuo, con interrupciones durante varias horas. No se mueva mientras usa este producto, no conduzca un vehículo ni opere maquinaria. No lo use si tiene un ojo enfermo o después de una operación ocular.
  • ADVERTENCIA: Nunca mire directamente al sol sin protección ocular especial. Siempre use gafas de eclipse al observar el eclipse solar, especialmente si una parte del sol es visible. Mirar directamente al sol puede causar daños permanentes si no se toman las precauciones adecuadas. Se debe usar protección ocular adecuada, diseñada específicamente para la observación solar, para evitar que los rayos dañinos del sol lleguen a los ojos. OBSERVACIÓN SOLAR CON TELESCOPIO

  • Nunca mire al sol a través de un ocular/telescopio sin un filtro de protección verificado. Un filtro lunar nunca puede usarse para la observación solar. El filtro lunar solo es adecuado para la observación de la luna. El filtro solar debe montarse en la apertura del telescopio, no en el ocular. De lo contrario, el rayo de luz concentrado por la óptica destruirá inmediatamente la película del filtro, lo que provocará daños oculares graves e incluso ceguera total.
  • Revise el filtro solar antes de cada observación solar y asegúrese de que no esté dañado. Manténgalo frente a una fuente de luz intensa para poder detectar posibles grietas y/o agujeros. No use el telescopio para la observación solar, incluso si el filtro solar está solo ligeramente dañado. En este caso, comuníquese con el fabricante para obtener las piezas de repuesto correspondientes.
