The PHOTON Newtonian reflector with an aperture of 150mm and an f-ratio of f/5 is well suited for observation and astrophotography and is an ideal telescope for beginners.
Aperture 150 mm / Focal length 750 mm / F-ratio F5
High quality parabolic primary mirror with 94% reflection coating for a brighter image.
Large secondary mirror with 63 mm diameter for a well-illuminated imaging field for astrophotography
Precise 2" Crayford focuser for precise focusing and micro-drive - optional motorized focus.
Adjustable primary and secondary mirror bracket made of metal, convenient collimation mark on the primary mirror
Focus position optimized for observation with all common eyepieces and for astrophotography with coma correctors
Due to its short construction, the Newtonian is suitable for smaller frames (Skywatcher EQ3 onwards)
Center mark on primary mirror for easy collimation
Generous equipment: 6x30 finder scope, ring clamps, dovetail included
TS-PHOTON 150/750 mm Advanced Newtonian for astrophotography and observation
This versatile TS-PHOTON series Newtonian reflector telescope captures a lot of light and offers extensive features you will rarely find in this price range. The 150mm aperture reveals thousands of deep-sky objects with plenty of detail.Resolve star clusters into individual stars or observe details of known nebulae. Thanks to the high-quality parabolic primary mirror, the Newtonian also reveals many details about the surface of the moon and planets. For visual observation, we suggest the TSV235 2" 35mm extension tube.
Astrophotographyis also possible with this telescope. The generously qualified secondary mirror offers very good illumination.Instead of creating vignettes in the corners, the telescope displays light and information. The high-quality 2" Crayford focuser (ball bearings) accepts all common coma correctors. Micro-transmission allows for precise focusing and sharp stars. These features make this telescope an ideal astrograph for astrophotography.
A great telescope for beginners.
Thanks to its comfortable handling and solid construction, this PHOTON Newtonian is ideal for beginners. For this Newtonian telescope we recommend the Skywatcher EQ3 or EQ5 mount. You will find both mounts in our accessories section below. With this telescope, wonderful observations of the moon and planets, but also of nebulae and galaxies, are achieved from the beginning. This Newtonian can later be upgraded with accessories, such as coma correctors for astrophotography or even binoviewers. The PHOTON Newtonian adapts to your needs.
General information and characteristics of TS-PHOTON Newtonian telescopes:
Parabolic light-gathering optics with exceptional contrast and very good sharpness for planetary observation
High quality 2" Crayford focuser for 2" and 1.25" accessories - with dual speed
Ideal focal plane position for DSLR and other cameras
All common 1.25" and 2" eyepieces can be used without problems
Brighter image due to 94% reflection coating on primary and secondary mirror
The motorized focus can be upgraded later at any time.
A 0.5mm thick secondary mirror spider made of stainless steel provides stability. I envy you for your sharp stars and your needle-thin points
Adjustable primary mirror holder and secondary mirror holder made entirely of metal.
More joy with astrophotography thanks to optimal field correction
A good coma checker turns this Newtonian into an astrograph. We recommend the TSGPU corrector, which adapts perfectly to this Newtonian. It will offer maximum sharpness throughout the field; The TSGPU makes this TS-PHOTON a true astrograph. An example image from our customer Francesco Fidora can be seen above in the product images section.Shows M81 and M82 as LRGB image with 20 hours of integration time.Congratulations on the beautiful image!
The working distance from the M48 thread is 55mm.With a T-ring you automatically reach the appropriate distance for astrophotography with DSLR cameras. We can offer you the appropriate adaptations for your astronomical cameras as part of our consulting service at any time.
