  • Easy to use altazimuth mount with adjustable tripod also good for terrestrial viewing
  • directly usable, thanks to many included accessories

Moon
Lunar craters, mountain ranges, mountain ranges, valleys, volcanic plains. Watch the sunrise over a crater as more and more details become visible inside the crater!

The planets

Observe the phases of Venus, the cloud belts of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn, the Galilean moons...

Sun
With the appropriate filter sold separately (not recommended for beginners).

The stars and the deep sky
Hundreds of objects are within reach of this telescope. Observe double or multiple stars with their different colors. Enjoy the beautiful view of a star cluster. Globular clusters are among the easiest objects outside our own galaxy to see with this telescope.

Finding objects with the StarScope 707:
The Starscope 707 comes complete with an altazimuth mount with adjustable height aluminum tripod. Assembly is easily done in a couple of minutes. Once assembled, it takes just a few seconds to set up the telescope ready for observing.

The telescope can be pointed at any point on earth and in the sky by intuitive movement from left to right and up and down. The telescope even has a slow motion control for altitude movement. You will see: It is very easy!

Finding the object you want to see is done with the help of a star map, for example the excellent Deep Sky Reiseatlas or a planisphere. The object is first focused in the small finderscope and then viewed in the main telescope.
