Change accessories with a single turn
It's never been so easy! Now you can change accessories in the blink of an eye. Even in complete darkness, and with the certainty of doing it right, something that wasn't so simple before when you had to screw the zenithal mirror into the clamping screw. Insert the eyepiece into the zenithal mirror, turn the knurled gold ring, and your eyepiece is securely fastened.
It won't even vibrate. It won't loosen even a millimeter! The big advantage is that the grip is non-damaging and precise, keeping the accessory centered in the middle.

What is the difference from other mirrors?
With conventional mirrors, the accessory is held in place by a screw. If overtightened, it leaves unsightly nicks in the eyepiece socket. And who wants that after spending a few hundred euros on an eyepiece or camera? With this overhead mirror, you can keep your accessories looking as good as new.

Dielectric mirror: clear images and high contrast
The Omegon zenith mirror offers incredibly clear images and particularly high contrast thanks to the large number of vaporized dielectric layers, which are also very strong and therefore durable. With these layers, this dielectric mirror achieves a reflection rate of 99%. Observers prefer to have as much light as possible: this mirror guarantees considerably clearer images than ordinary aluminum-coated mirrors.

The advantages of the SC thread
With the SC thread integrated into the zenith mirror, you'll save on an adapter. Thanks to the direct mount, the mirror is mounted close to the end of the tube, allowing you to tilt the tube of a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope with an azimuth fork through the zenith. Other types of zenith mirrors can cause problems, especially with 8" SC telescopes.
