An easier search with the right finder for your camera
Do you want to place celestial objects in the focus of your camera more precisely? It is clear that it is not an easy task... Especially when photographing large fogs without a telescope. But now, with the Omegon finder for single lens reflex or SLR cameras it will be child's play.
Summary of advantages:
- LED finder to find celestial objects directly with your camera
- Adjustable clarity in 5 levels with configurable light point in red or green
- Eloxed aluminum with high quality finishes for a finder with a longer useful life
- 2 angles of adjustment of the light point on the camera
- Compatible with your camera's hot shoe
Compatible with your camera's hot shoe
This LED finder fits perfectly into the hot shoe of your mirror reflex camera. Select an object and instantly focus it on your camera. While many finders are too dark and cameras with a built-in finder often use a digital finder, which further reduces the chances of finding something, the Omegon hot shoe finder does make life easier for the astrophotographer.
A red dot that always shows the position
When you look through the finder, you will see the night sky as a backdrop and in front of it a fine red dot that shows at all times what your camera lens captures.
A button allows you to select between 5 different clarity levels, so you can work with the most appropriate light intensity. By the way, alternatively you can also activate strong green lighting to take photos during the day too.
Guaranteed quality and at the height of the stars
The LED camera finder is ideal for astrophotography. It was originally part of our hunting accessories catalog. And there is no doubt about it when you see it: the finish of its metal casing is excellent. It has an aperture of 40 mm, for a wide enough view of your objective. And this level of quality has only recently arrived in the world of astronomy. Until now, stargazers would point to the sky, take random photos and, with a little luck, capture Capricorn, Lepus or Leo.
For what objects is this shoe finder recommended?
Large objects are a no-brainer for this stand-alone accessory for your camera, such as the North American or California nebulae or the Andromeda galaxy, i.e. huge objects for which you would otherwise have to use a telephoto lens. Although they are not that easy to find either.
Some amateur astronomers also photograph the objects with an H-Alpha filter from the city. Until not long ago it was practically impossible to find them with a camera, but now they have the Omegon shoe finder, which is not only convenient, but also helps save valuable time that previously had to be spent searching.
