The ZWO ASI992MM Pro sets new standards in the SWIR field: it combines a specialized InGaAs sensor with high sensitivity in the range up to approximately 1.7 µm, powerful two-stage cooling, low read noise, and robust data storage.

The camera allows you to photograph stars through layers of clouds and even during the day.
Refrigeration requires a external power supply 12 volts. Powering the camera via USB is insufficient. We recommend a 12V, 3-5A power supply with a 5.5 x 2.1 mm plug, internal positive terminal, or an 11-14 volt lithium-ion battery. A power supply outside this voltage range may cause irreparable damage to the camera.
