Steeltrail - Stainless Steel Bearings
All important parts of the Omegon Steeltrail eyepiece holder are made of stainless steel. The V2A bearings move on stainless steel wheels, thus giving the eyepiece holder greater precision. Reduction 1:10 - Objects with perfect sharpness
When enlarging images and trying to take astrophotographs, it is difficult to find the perfect point of focus. However, thanks to the 1:10 reduction setting, it is possible. Turning the steel wheel moves the 2" tube one tenth of a millimeter, so if we turn the wheel half a turn, we will have changed the focusing path by approximately one millimeter.
