This 1.25" diameter variable polarization filter allows you to individually adjust the light - highly recommended for terrestrial observation and objects in our solar system.
The brightness of many details of objects in the solar system often differs considerably. This is especially noticeable in:
Lunar craters near the terminator
Sunspots and faculae. Caution: observe the Sun exclusively with an appropriate solar filter for the objective!
Planetary details
Irradiation from bright areas often makes it impossible to discover fine details. With variable polarization filters, you can individually adjust the attenuation.
Transmittance
The transmittance of the polarization filter varies between 1% and 40%, allowing for a wide variety of applications.
Operation
Polarization filters consist of two separate filters. You can operate the lower filter in relation to the upper one to vary the attenuation.
