The Omegon erector lens has been developed following a totally innovative principle. Traditional lenses are very long and sometimes even compromise viewing comfort. The Omegon lens, however, protrudes only 60 mm from the tube, which translates into greater comfort for the observer.

A lens that is more than a lens, it is a prism
This erector lens is made up of a combination of coated lenses and a roof prism. It allows the observer to maintain a noticeably more comfortable viewing posture, such as with an Amici roof prism on a refractor or with binoculars. The difference is that this lens with integrated prism can also be used in Newton-type telescopes.

T2 thread: A photo to frame
