Levenhuk 400B Binocular Microscope

The Levenhuk 400B is a binocular laboratory microscope for professional work in the fields of microbiology, medicine, veterinary medicine, ornithology, ecology, or biochemistry. This general-purpose model can be used for brightfield and oil immersion observations. This microscope features a reliable metal body, high-quality achromatic optics, and a bright LED lamp with a collecting lens.

The binocular head is ideal for extended microscope work, as it reduces eye strain. The head can be rotated 360° around its axis and is inclined at 30°. The widefield eyepieces of this microscope provide 10x magnification. Achromatic objectives are pre-installed in a rotating nosepiece; they provide 4x, 10x, 40x, and 100x magnification. The total magnification of the microscope ranges from 40x to 1000x. The 40x and 100x objectives are equipped with a spring-retractable mechanism that protects the front lens. The 100x objective can be used for oil immersion.

The stage is equipped with a mechanical micrometer; beneath the stage is an Abbe condenser with an iris diaphragm and a filter holder. Below is the illumination system, consisting of an LED lamp and a collecting lens. The illumination brightness is adjustable. Since this microscope is also battery-operated, it's easy to use when you're away from a power outlet.
