Levenhuk MED 25B Binocular Microscope

Levenhuk MED 25B microscope is a binocular model with two condensers: one for bright field and one for dark field. Both condensers can be used for observations with oil immersion. This microscope is designed for professional work in medicine, microbiology, biochemistry, and other scientific fields. It can be used for research, diagnostic, or educational purposes. This microscope allows for observations with magnification up to 1000x, Köhler illumination setup, and studying complex detailed microstructures.

The binocular head is 360° rotatable. The vertical part is inclined at 30°, which enables comfortable long-term observations. The kit includes wide field eyepieces with 10x magnification. They have diopter adjustment to adapt the optics to individual vision. The revolving nosepiece contains four plan achromatic objectives, which provide aberration-free images. The 100x objective allows for oil immersion observations. Two of the objectives use protective retractable casings. The optics of all accessories have an anti-fungal coating.

Samples are placed on a stage with the help of a mechanical micrometer. The stage is double-layered and can be moved along two axes. Sharpness is adjusted by rotating the coarse and fine focus adjustment knobs. The mechanisms have a small step factor and extra-smooth sharpness adjustment. Samples are illuminated from below with a 20-watt halogen bulb. Its brightness is adjustable. The light passes through an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm, where filters can be installed (the kit includes three filters). Additionally, a dark field condenser can be installed on the microscope. It is also included in the kit and allows for the use of oil immersion.

The illumination is powered by an AC power supply.

Caution:
Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage is 110V in the US and Canada, and 220–240V in most European countries.

The Levenhuk MED 25B binocular microscope is compatible with Levenhuk cameras (purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube, in place of an eyepiece.
