The Levenhuk MED 40B Binocular Microscope has a professional plan achromatic optical system with Köhler illumination adjustment and magnification from 40x to 1000x. Infinity-corrected plan achromatic optics
Levenhuk MED 40 series microscopes are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is used in professional and high-class microscopes. This system includes Infinity Plan Achromatic objectives that produce clear, high-contrast, and highly flat images.

One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows installing any additional elements in the path between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. The additional elements include polarizers and epifluorescence light. Rotatable binocular head
The microscope is equipped with a binocular head that allows you to observe with both eyes at the same time. The visual module has a comfortable 30° incline. This means that the neck muscles do not become tired even after long hours of observation. The head can be rotated 360° around its axis, which is useful for group observations, when several researchers have to study the same sample.

Practical work with microscope slides
The stage is equipped with a mechanical micrometer and can be moved in two directions. The light source is located under the stage. It consists of a 5W LED. The light intensity is adjusted using an Abbe condenser equipped with an iris diaphragm.

Illumination is powered by an AC power supply. The brightness of the illumination is adjustable.
