The Levenhuk MED 45B Binocular Microscope is designed for professional brightfield, darkfield, and phase contrast microscopic observations. Oil immersion can be used for the brightfield technique, while for darkfield observations, only the "dry" method is used. The infinity-corrected optical system allows the microscope to be supplemented with additional accessories (purchased separately) to expand its capabilities. This microscope will be a perfect instrument for a university department, research institute, or medical laboratory.

Advantages of the phase contrast method
It should be noted that this optical instrument allows for the use of phase contrast microscopy. This method improves the contrast and sharpness of transparent and semi-transparent microscope samples. These results can only be achieved in conventional research methods by staining the samples. This is why phase contrast microscopy is indispensable for studying living specimens in their native state, as staining inevitably leads to their death. This method can be applied to drinking water analysis, parasite analysis, cytological, hematological, and other research.

Rotating binocular head
The microscope is equipped with a classic binocular head inclined at 30°. It allows you to make observations with both eyes at once and prevents neck muscle strain during prolonged work periods. The head can be rotated 360°, which is practical for group work, as a sample can be comfortably studied from any position. The eyepieces included in the kit have 10x magnification, ensure clear vision, and allow for diopter adjustment.
