Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi Digital Microscope

The Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi is a portable microscope that is convenient to carry with you. It fits easily in a backpack thanks to its design. It can be held in one hand, which is practical. This microscope can be an excellent research instrument for children thanks to its lightweight design. However, the Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi's primary use is to assist in professional activities. It is useful for studying works of art, minerals, coins, and metal sections. It can also be used to evaluate the quality of welds and for appliance repair. Handheld microscopes are generally used to check the quality of products in stores to detect any possible mold growth on fruits and vegetables.

Images are captured by a camera equipped with a 5MP sensor. The camera transmits high-resolution color images to a built-in LCD screen. A rotating screen can be easily adjusted to the most comfortable position for working. Additionally, the microscope can capture images and record videos (a memory card is required, purchased separately). This is done using a single button located on the microscope body. If necessary, the Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi can be connected to an external device: a monitor, TV, or computer. All necessary cables are included in the kit.

Before connecting the microscope to a computer, be sure to install the included software. This software gives you access to advanced features, allowing you to measure the linear and angular sizes of objects, and apply text and images to images.

The microscope only works with non-transparent objects. Adjustable-brightness LED illumination is used as the light source. The included polarizing filter reduces unwanted reflections when observing shiny objects. Magnification is variable within a range of 10x to 300x. Additionally, a digital zoom allows observation at a magnification of up to 1200x. The microscope operates on an AC power supply or a battery, which allows continuous operation for up to 2.5 hours.

Recommendations on the use of the software: For PortableCapture Plus (and its other versions) to work properly, launch the installed application only when your microscope is connected to a PC and ready to make observations.

Caution! Remember that mains voltage is 110 V in the United States and Canada, and 220–240 V in most European countries. Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110 V device into a 220 V outlet or vice versa without using a converter.

The Levenhuk DTX 700 Mobi microscope is not compatible with external digital cameras.
