The beautifully designed and vibrantly colored Rainbow 2L PLUS microscopes are the logical continuation of the Levenhuk Rainbow 2L series. These new microscopes combine all the advantages of the previous line with new features. These microscopes are equipped with two illumination systems, making it possible to observe transparent, semi-transparent, and opaque samples.

High-quality optics
The image quality of a microscope directly depends on the quality of its optical components. That's why Levenhuk Rainbow 2L PLUS microscopes are made only with the highest quality materials. All lenses are made of special optical glass that is highly transparent and does not distort the image. Additionally, the lenses are coated with an anti-reflective coating, which increases the percentage of transmitted light and therefore the brightness and contrast of the image.

The rotating turret has three objectives with magnifications of 64x, 160x, and 640x. The magnification is changed by rotating the turret. The most powerful lens, with 40x magnification, is equipped with a spring that protects the delicate optical components, even if an inexperienced user lowers the objective too far and touches the specimen.

Allows you to observe transparent and opaque samples
The microscope is equipped with two illumination modes, upper and lower, allowing you to observe both opaque and transparent samples. To observe microorganisms in a drop of water or the cellular structure of a plant, use the lower illumination mode. The upper illumination mode is used to observe opaque objects, allowing you to study the quality of paper or detect scratches or nicks on coins, which are invisible to the naked eye. To observe semi-transparent objects, you must use both the upper and lower illumination modes simultaneously. The brightness can also be adjusted to obtain the best possible image of each specific sample.

Carefully thought-out design
The microscope's sturdy metal body allows for frequent use. Its 45-degree inclined monocular head provides the most comfortable position for viewing samples. It also rotates 360 degrees around its axis, which is particularly useful when working in a group.

The illumination system must be connected to a power source. If there's no outlet nearby, you can also use batteries. This is particularly useful when using the microscope outdoors.

Caution: Check the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V, and in most European countries it is 220–240V.
