The Levenhuk Rainbow 50L microscope is a great gift for anyone interested in biology and science. This instrument allows you to study common objects around you in your everyday life, observing them at magnifications of 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and even 800x! With this microscope, you can discover the structures of plants, animals, and people, get a glimpse into the life of microscopic organisms that we can't normally see, and, of course, conduct exciting experiments. This kit includes everything a beginner could need; in the box, you'll find slides with pre-prepared samples, as well as tools for preparing your own samples.
Six degrees of increase
This microscope is equipped with three objectives and an additional Barlow lens that doubles the magnification of the objective you're using. This microscope allows you to observe samples at magnifications of 40x, 80x, 100x, 200x, 400x, and even 800x!, without having to add anything else.
The optical components are made of highly transparent glass. To improve light transmission, the lenses are coated with a multi-layer coating, resulting in clear, sharp images.
Two intense LED lights
The microscope is equipped with two built-in LED lights. The lower light is used for observing transparent samples; by turning on this light, you can discover life in an aquarium water sample or analyze the cellular structure of various plants. The upper light is used for observing opaque objects: for example, you can examine the surface structure of a stone or see microscopic scratches on metal surfaces, invisible to the naked eye. Using both lights at the same time also gives you the opportunity to observe semi-transparent samples; simply turn on the upper and lower lights. The light intensity is dimmable and can be easily changed if needed.
Easy to use
The microscope body is made of high-quality plastic, making it both lightweight and durable. The head is tilted at 45° for comfortable observations. It can also be rotated 360° around its axis, which is especially useful for group observations (the head can be rotated so the next person can observe). The microscope can be operated either from a power outlet or with batteries.
Caution: Check the specifications table for the correct voltage and never plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using an adapter. Remember that the voltage in the United States and Canada is 110V, and in most European countries it's 220–240V.
Exciting experiments with the microscope
This microscope comes with an experiment kit that will allow you to perform several fascinating experiments. This kit includes pre-prepared samples so you can test your new microscope as soon as you receive it, as well as tools for preparing your own samples. The kit also includes a guide with useful information on the microscope's design, tips for working with it, and a description of interesting experiments.
