Levenhuk 870T Biological Trinocular Microscope

The Levenhuk 870T is a trinocular biological microscope for brightfield observations in transmitted light. It is used in various types of medical research centers for general medicine, urology, dermatology, biology, biochemistry, pathology, and cytology. The microscope can be equipped with a digital camera to output images to an external display, take photos, and record videos. The camera must be purchased separately and is installed on the trinocular tube.

The head can also be tilted 30°. This tilt is comfortable for extended work. The interpupillary distance is adjustable. The eyepieces have a wide field of view, allowing work with large specimens. Four plan achromatic objectives are mounted on the rotating turret, which faces inward. With this orientation, the user can see the objective and the space above the stage is free.

There is no positioning rack on the stage, which improves the device's ergonomics. The horizontal stage shift knob is positioned lower for user comfort. The sample holder is designed for two samples. The focus knobs allow for coarse and fine focus adjustment. All stage movements are smooth and jerk-free.

The light source is located below the stage and Abbe condenser. The LED illumination is 220 V and its brightness is adjustable. Thanks to the LED illumination, the microscope's resolution is higher than that of similar models with halogen illumination. The aperture and field diaphragms allow for adjusting the Köhler illumination.

Caution: Refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage, and never attempt to plug a 110V device into a 220V outlet or vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage is 110V in the United States and Canada, and 220–240V in most European countries.
